So its pushing 1 a.m. and i cant sleep. Which really sucks because i have a long day of work tomorrow, 9-6. Ugh. Stupid jetlag.
So Oregon was so much fun. It was so nice to be with Lauren again and behold the beauty that is the northwest. I love it so much out there, the mountains alone are worth the trip, you can see Mt. Hood, Mt. Reneir, and Mt. St. Helens from Lauren's house on a clear day. I already miss it.
When i left last Tuesday i was delayed in Boston for two hours. We sat on the runway while they fixed the engine so it didnt blow up and kill us all somewhere over Chicago. I was stuck in the middle seat the whole way, but im not complaining because all i did was read and watch Chasing Amy, and that kept me busy. But i was stuck next to this wicked annoying girl from Eugene Oregon who kept bitching and moaning about being stuck in Boston. She kept saying how rediculous it was that it was taking so long, and i told her "Maybe they found the bomb in my bag down below." She didnt say much after that, except when she was talking about her cows. Yeah apparently she lives on a farm, and she was wicked arrogant about her animals, telling me how they win medals in fairs and stuff while i was trying to read my book. And i was like, "Oh, thats... cool?(stop talking to me)" When she found out i didnt have any pets she was like "Oh I'm SORRRRRY, you cant live without animals, no life is complete unless you have (WHATEVERRRR!!!) something to take care of."
We finally got into San Fransisco just before i beat Farmer Jane to death with my shoe and i barely made the connecting flight and got into Oregon at like 12:30 West Coast time. Lauren was in Portland with Lindsay Klick (who is wicked cool, and so were all of her friends:)) and they picked me up. The first few days in Oregon we did alot of cuddling, shopping, eating, and zoo-ing. On friday we went to Seattle and paid way too much to go to the top of the Space Needle, but now i can say ive been up there. We saw Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Wedding Crashers with her friends, both were amazing movies. The best misadventure we had all week was with Kelsey, Lindsay, and Jamie where we went down to one of the parks on the river and played on the jungle gym at like 11 at night, and then ran away like scared little girls when we saw a bald guy in a trench coat wandering around. Then we ate at Sheris, which is like an IHOP, only dirtier. I know, i didnt think it was possible either.
I brought Lauren flowers when she had to work on saturday. So that was cute:) Its like the busiest day of the year, and im standing in the middle of Barnes and Noble with a bouquet of flowers, quite the spectacle. I already miss her.
Now im back home, working, recording with the band. This cd is going to kick so much ass, it should be done before i leave for school so if you want a copy let me know and i can get it to you before i leave. Work sucks, but its work so what do you expect. I work with some real winners, believe me. Its like taking a paraplegic to the bathroom with some of these kids, i have to do everything for them. On top of that ive got soccer moms up my ass about every little thing. Arrgh two weeks left
I leave for school in exactly two weeks. So start planning the goodbye parties! There are a few things bothering me that i need to straighten out before i leave. Things will work out though. I guess i should try to go to bed now. Night
